ok so...
I'm going to see David Tennant and Patrick Stewart in Hamlet at Stratford on 31 July. Thanks to
lixa_turner, who sold me her ticket.

I promise to behave myself and not take any unauthorised film footage (even though my camera can do it minus red light this time, N82 instead of N95, bit of black tape on the light so it covers it up better than my finger did last time...) . I also promise not to hump their legs. Honestly.
(i imagine that the RSC have no idea what's coming their way with rabid fangirls and mobile phone cameras when Tennant starts in Hamlet - if they thought I was a troublemaker they have no idea what's coming... Its a whole different class of audience. With Henry IV, most patrons were in their 50s - 60s, very posh, middle-upper class and dressed like an expensive dinner date, drinking their wine in between acts, etc. Now, its going to be rabid fangirls aged 18 - 30, snapping pics with mobile phone cameras and filming footage hoping they won't be seen. And cheering LOUDLY between scenes, which was so gauche when I was there - you could only golf-clap, anything else was too plebian... Bwahahaha!)
Hopefully both gentlemen will have pity on the (heavily, at that point!) pregnant lady and take a photo with fat whale-sized me...!! What an honour to hang around after and meet them both! Hope they're nicer chaps than David Warner was, for all i went through to see him!
Now i gotta find a place to stay the night. Ugh. And i won't be able to walk miles out of the city centre, my ankles will be fat as tree trunks anyways, i'll have to get a taxi :/ Costs more, bah.
Its inconvenient considering its a Thursday evening's performance, but frankly scarlett, for what i paid (£26 + shipping), compared to Ebay prices for these tickets (£150+ for one, £200+ for two), i wouldn't have given a fuck if it was a 3am performance, I'd have been there with my drip of Red Bull so i could stay awake and see it, kwim?
Its my gift to me - i deserve it with all this mother-in-law drama and upset, and pregnancy blahs. Husband will stay in / work from home so he can stay with Goobs while i make my way home Friday morning. Trains start running quite early from Stratford on a week day, its only the weekends during which the trains sucketh arse.
Now that we've moved house into a house and are finally settled, my pc is rebuilt and back on, i have a shiny new computer chair from Ikea to sit my fat rump on, i'm getting excited about seeing Tennant and Stewart in a little over a fortnight's time!

My sister and I are staying at the Adelphi Hotel.
__kali__ is organising the fangirls en mass and has brought about 19 tickets for people. This is the meet up thread:

There's also a preparation comm for those that have their own tickets and would like advice on surviving:
