will go down as one of the best NuWho 2 parters of all time, yes.
I enjoyed Family of Blood more than Human Nature. I thought it wrapped things up nicely, paid proper homage to our boys in the war, and had Joan tell the Doctor what she really thought, of him, of what happens when he arrives, the carnage guaranteed to ensue.
I hit on that myself a bit in my story for the BF contest, Loving the Bomb, the inevitable carnage the Doctor brings, and how he feels very shitty about it indeed, especially in his fifth incarnation.
Definitely Tennant's best, and perhaps I'm saying that because he spent the majourity of the episodes as John Smith, not the manic hyperactive forgot-my-Ritalin Tenth Doctor... dunno. Still, Tennant's best performance, especially as John Smith realising that he was about to die in order to restore the Doctor...
Paul Cornell, you're officially my favourite NuWho writer.
