Campion: flowers for the judge

PD gave a very breathless delivery post the fist fight in the middle of part 2. The more excited/intense Albert got, the more breathless PD was, the more out of breath his lines were. That's PD's acting style apparently, not a Fifth Doctor aspect.

I like it, either way, it conveys intense excitement to get so breathless.

Cor, i really enjoyed the bloody nose, the cut on his temple, his head dripping blood and the bruised cheek. Woof. PD abused, very delicious. (gave me a visual for all those bloody noses i wrote - yes. Oh yes.) - Cradling his bloodied knuckles after the fight, fantastic acting work. Yes.

(very obvious use of a stunt double though, meh)

Albert's quite a viscious man when he needs to be - I like that about him. I'd shag him too, yes. Stephen Daker pushes all my mothering instinct buttons, Albert pushes all my let-yourself-be-protected-by-a-real-gentleman buttons. oh yes.

Otherwise it wasnt that great of a story, but i enjoyed the PD abuse.

Am i weird? lol

A bit of Petey abuse now and then doesn't do anyone any harm! Except Petey himself of course...

Does he pocket-act in Campion as well then? I can't say I noticed much pocket-acting in AVPP but I'm sure there was some as Tristan as well as Fivey...

I have to say, I think Flowers is my favourite Campion story. Probably for the fight, but there's so much more. I love the whole Campion-in-peril as he hangs on for dear life to that door with Lugg below chanting "hang on, hang on". :-)
