Whilst in the bath tonight...

... goober gets out my toy dalek (complete with bubble bath, a christmas gift), and plays with him. He sits by the side of the bath so one can have the joy of dalek bubble bath whenever one feels so inclined... ;)

i says, 'what does a dalek do? does he say... "you are an enemy of the daleks, you will be exterminated!" ? '

she grabs him in both hands, waggles him towards me, and says in a robot monotone voice, 'you are the silliest mommy on planet earth! i'm gonna shoot you, poopy!'

i proceed to laugh til tears ran down my face. what a funny kid :)

thank you! she's a lot of fun, and she can easily say Exterminate, she just chose 'i'm gonna shoot you, poopy!' instead :) Poopy is one of her favourite words. Heh.

She has put in an order for a baby girl. She has a 50/50 chance of being satisfied.

I says but what if its a boy?
she says, but it wont be a boy, i'm having a sister.
i says, but, what if you have a brother?
she says, i DONT WANT a brother, i want a sister!!!

Its gonna be a big surprise come 20 weeks at the scan, wont it? Or not.

(mommy and daddy want a boy)

Its ironic really - i was a little bit younger than her when my brother was born, and through the pregnancy with him, i kept insisting to my mom that i was having a sister, or i was having Kermit the Frog, because brothers were just *gruesome*.

We're still close today. :)

I'm sure she'll be fine! :D

omg i'd totally shit with two. Wowzers. But my family would definitely be complete in one swoop...

maybe extra hormones would explain the fourth week onset of the sickness, which usually doesnt start til 6 or 7 weeks. ARGH. Now you got me hoping!! Damnit!
