A2A and Crotchwoot

Ashes to Ashes 1.6 -
pretty damn good. FINALLY some real peril to one of the cast. A cracking good story  this time as well.

Though i continue to be confused while Caroline Price puts up with Alex turning up on her step saying really fucking weird things, and hasn't called the guys in white coats to collect her.

Loved Gene shooting through the glass in slomo. It was like BIG DAMN HERO, wasn't it? Yay.

Thought Gene was going to kiss her this week.  I'm finding Philip Glenister more and more sexy every week, fuck me! Rawr, Gene! I love his nose, yes i do.


Torchwood 2.10 -
From out of the Rain. Pretty good. Slow in places, i thought but a brilliant idea and a fairly good resolution.

Though it was a bit easy, IMHO. The villains were pretty convincing, though they needed to hang around a bit longer and be a bit more menacing. Ok episode.

I'm convinced the way everyone ignores Alex's bizarre statements about mental constructs is going to be a plot point of some kind.

Alex isnt really a character anyone I know can relate with you know? Sam said some weird shit and people didn't call the white coats on him. And i accepted that - he was an everyman, you could relate to him.

Alex is too toffee nosed with all her psychological technobabble and her ultra-RP accent, no one can relate to her anyways, so when her mom puts up with a 'stranger' turning up on the doorstep crying, and acts all sympathetic, i'm thinking that in her mind she's thinking about detaining her within the Mental Health Act 1983 which hasnt been invented yet, you know?

Umm, plus, she was in a freezer - why didnt she shiver? You can't help shivering, its an autimatic autonomic thing, IMHO, when the body freezes enough to die, right?

Just minor quibbles, really. ♥ Gene, yes i do.
