holy shit... Sweeney Todd (2005)

I cannot believe they aired this on BBCOne not so long ago... Ray Winstone's performance is amazingly good so far as well. (Dont worry, i'm not going to go fancying him or anything, he's too fat for me.)

I'm only a few minutes in and some guy's already had his throat slit, and its the goriest, most realistic throat slitting i've *ever* seen. And i get around a fair bit, movie-wise.

Damn. I was only watching for David, who plays a blind magistrate named Fielding. Argh.

Jack the Ripper had nothing on this guy.

Tim Burton is making this with Johnny Depp as Sweeny Todd. I can't friggin' wait. It's gonna be awesome.

I know how Johnny was in From Hell, and I know how Tim Burton is, just from seeing so many of his movies through the years, but i dont think they can TOUCH this version. Not with a ten foot barge pole. It was like Dog Soldiers gritty realistic.

I'm gonna have nightmares, i can just tell.

Yes, and at least 20 more to go. Lots are very obscure and difficult to find.

(I've seen almost everything Petey's ever done, except the Last Detective, which i'm going to be watching soon i hope!)
