Ok, caught up on these in a marathon run while goober slept in from jet lag.

Planet of the Ood:
enjoyed it quite a lot. Loving the Doctor <-> Donna dynamic muchly. Nothing remarkable, just felt so sorry for the Ood. Love how Donna took up their cause, like Rose would've done, but better. The things that Donna said about the Ood, about slavery, etc, had so much more impact because she's a grown woman - coming from 19-year-old-chavvy's mouth, it sounded pathetic and like token lip service.

Having a 19 year old take up the Cause of Championing All That is Good In the Universe seems like severe token lip service to me - resounding fake in my ears because what do you know at 19, that you don't know better at 30ish, right? No insults intended, but ffs - i am a much more rounded more sensible knowledgeable person at 32 than i was at 19 even though my SAT score was almost 1500 (old scale) and my ACT score was 33 but now, i need a thesaurus regularly and typo too/to/two as many times as a gripe about seeing it typoed...

Sontaran Stratagem:
Damnit! A two parter! GIMME MORE!. Loved Martha and Donna interaction. Loved the plot. I don't remember Group Marshall Stike being short in The Two Doctors. Thought the shortness of the potato-bodied people quite amusing. Really just enjoyed it and can't wait for tomorrow night's half. :)

I think i need a Doctor and Donna icon. Notice the lack of slash between their names, since i don't ship them or anyone else in Who, not really.
Mood:: 'bouncy' bouncy

If my Who trivia is up to snuff, I believe the tall Sontarans in "The Two Doctors" were actually OOC. I think the Sontarans had been short and stocky in every appearance prior to that one.

And I agree with you about the age/wisdom thing. I don't think it's at all unusual for a wide-eyed 19 y.o. to want take up causes, but Donna's a much better fit for the Doctor from an experience/maturity standpoint. She's a breath of fresh air. I don't know why the Doctor is so attached to naive little girls, I really don't. (I mean, aside from all the obvious ones!)
