This was a horror flick with B-movie overtones to it, but not really a B movie. It was 4 separate stories held together by Peter Cushing, an old man running an antiques shop, selling people bits and them getting more than they paid for. Like John Carpenter's Body Bags or similar movie that's really a collection of stories.

David Warner played a cute cravat wearing bachelor-turned-murderer in the first part, possessed by a ghost in his newly purchased antique mirror. Adorable. Murdering and bloody but not so much gory; not half as bad as Sweeney Todd, omg.

He can take me home and hack me to bits any day, yes. Just so long as he takes me home.

Peter Cushing gave me nightmares for YEARS as Grand Moff Tarkin when i was a kid. Yes.

In this film he didnt do much, and he was a old bent over gentleman with a common accent. He was at least 6 inches shorter than David Warner, and his bio days he was 5' 11.5"; David's 6'2", so summat doesnt add up.

He looks a LOT shorter to me! But the bios on the net say 5 feet 11.5 inches.

LOL ... yes, David Warner: the only man I'd ever trust to hack me to bits! (Even on a first date!)

Love Peter Cushing too, BTW. But not in the same way I love David, of course. ;-) I always see him as the mild-mannered antiques dealer ... or as Van Helsing to Christopher Lee's Dracula, so he doesn't scare me. Plus I read that he was the sweetest man in real life.

Actors often lie about their height, BTW. (But I'd be willing to swear in a court of law if I have to that David Warner is at least 6'2".)
