I am DYING laughing.

A bit cavalier about sharing prescription drugs that arent prescribed to you, mind, but very funny indeed.

PD pulls out all stops and Pippa is just full on hysterical.

I really must remember to actually watch this when it airs...

It was worth it purely for the rent boy "I used to be really quite pretty" bit for me!

And what more can I do than hit you with a leek to remind you? ;)

What more can you do? Uhm, turn off my hormones, hide my entire David Warner movie / screencap / audio directory and take away my copy of the Island?

Sigh.... I never thought i'd ever be mad enough over another actor to ever actually forget to watch something PD is doing on tv the very minute it airs... never. Its like my brain's gone, utterly.

This episode was the first one I actually laughed at.
The previous ones have been alright, but not actually funny. Pippa is a very good actress, even if she does play a similar part every time (ring any bells, PD?) but I loved the interview bit. Very funny. :)

Yes, this was the first i actually laughed out loud at as well.

Pippa and PD are character actors. David Warner is as well, but he does the panto villain best, whereas PD does the likeable middle aged guy best.

I've seen Pippa with him in something else that i cant think of off the top of my head, but also Danse Macabre, an episode of Jonathan Creek, where she was part of a murder scheme. All she did was sob and weep through the whole episode, so since seeing that, its sometimes hard for me to take her very seriously.

I watched that a few days ago not just for PD or anything. She was also in Cuts or something I think. She was interviewed in the Radio Times about the number of times they've been 'put together' but its one from a few weeks old, so its been thrown.

likeable middle-aged guy is good, right?

Likeable middle aged guy is delicious. But so much better than cocky smartarse plastic surgeon, or know-it-all arsehole child psychologist, get my drift?

I just meant I like Martin in Fear, Stress, and Anger MUCH more than Bill Shore in Distant Shores, or George Huntley in Complete Guide to Parenting - all roles were played by Peter Davison...

Yes, i think she was in Cuts now that you mention it.

I have about 8 shitty quality screencaps i took from Cuts back in 1999 when i had a copy of it, and i think you're right. She slept with him like a wild animal while he was a famous screen writer, and when it all went belly up she dropped him like a hotcake or something to that effect.

Memory's hazy, i havent seen it since 99 i dont think.
