40+4 and counting. HINT HINT TUMMY...

Actually, it doesn't suck so much except the umpteen billion calls, texts and people saying 'have you had her yet??'  *headdesk* Yeah like i was gonna have her in total secret and not tell anyone. Yeah, that's it. </ sarcasm>

It feels just like last week, without the blood pressure drama and with fewer, less energetic baby movements. I guess she's saving up for the grand entrance? She's still alive, but she's not so busy. Last week she was trying to go all John Hurt chestburster on me, and that was beyond uncomfortable, into well painful.

This kid is so not going to move before Friday. *pokes idle belly* I'm gonna have to get an eviction notice, I can see it.

ugh, so tired of keeping my feet up, drinking lots of water and watching crap tv. Come on baby! You've got til Friday!
Mood:: 'blah' blah

No shit. Already securing her drama queen reputation before i even lay eyes on her little face and button nose (which i have seen on the scans) ... what outrageous cheek...

Shrubby was 13 days overdue. I, too, got sick of people saying "haven't you had that baby yet?"

Yes, yes I have, and this is a stealth tummy!

I have no idea how common this sort of thing is. Are babies often that slow to pop out?

So common that in other countries they give you a 42 week pregnancy due date, not a 40 week one, because babies often often often show up in the 41st week.

Update on me: |Midwife came within 30 mins of phone call, bless her socks. Sweep successful! Cervix soft, moved forward, 1cm dilated, beginning to efface. HORRAY! Hopefully the sweep is all we need to kick things off. And sex tonight, and hot curry for tea. :D

YAY. :)

And sex tonight, and hot curry for tea.

Sounds like the perfect evening! LOL

I hope it gets the baby moving! :)

OMG I can't believe you're still pregnant ;)

I would be dying to have the baby looong before 40+4, that's for sure.

(((HUGS)))

tell me about it... i'm getting a bit fed up, i really am. But i feel entitled to be fed up, i'm overdue. If i wasn't overdue, i wouldn't really be fed up.

I still enjoy her inside me, and i'm going to miss that, but alas. COME ON OUT, KID!

She's less active now because she suddenly thought, "you know, it's pretty nice here. I'm not ready to leave yet." ;)
