Quest of the Delta Knights (MST3K version)

oh my god.

I am dying with laughter. Officially The Worst Film Ever Made in the History of History Itself. But so funny!

How on god's green earth did they talk David into playing both parts in this? AND narrating it?

The robots are so funny, they make the movie even funnier, even at its worst...

David takes it as seriously as he can, but face it, he did it for the money. He looks hawt as the good guy til they kill him off, and he's sexy as the bad guy, but that's my hormones talking, i think, not reality.

He's still hot though. I'd still shag him, right now dirty.

I'm such a Mistie, I shall make it a goal of mine to find this eppy and watch it in the next few weeks.

I am dying. Dying, i say. Hilarity on top of hilarity.

And David takes it so seriously, poor bloke, just trying to earn a few bucks. I suspect he had no idea anyone would take the piss out of it so badly.

And that reminds me of the Worst Scene in a Film Evar, and that's the wizard whizz scene towards the beginning. David looks so amused, tossing his chamberpot full of piss onto a bad guy, so funny.

Haha! That was wonderful to watch. I watched it on YouTube. It made my day watching it.

BTW, what happened to greasedtea? I notice she has deleted her LJ.

Yes, it was indeed a bad movie, made far more palatable by the MST3K crew ... but have you actually seen the original without the commentary? I haven't actually gone and compared them side by side, but I could swear they edited out a few of David's best Vultare scenes ... because they were actually *funny* the way he delivered them. (Yet another fine example of him rising far above the material.)

I actually thought he looked a lot sexier as the good wizard--maybe it's just me, but I don't think dark hair becomes him very well ... and I usually go for dark hair too. (So now that we know he can play a wizard, when's he going to get a role in the Harry Potter series? I thought he should have gotten the role as Dumbledore when it was recast, but now it seems to me Rufus Scrimgeour in "Half-Blood Prince" was written just for him; not only does the physical description fit, but I could even hear him saying the dialogue in my mind when I read it. Although I'd also take him as Gandalf in the upcoming Hobbit movie.)

Yeah, "wizard whizz" ... ewwww! (That MST3K version was indeed hilarious.)

No, the only version i've been able to find is the MST one, so i had to listen to wizard whizz, with no choice. lol.

As the good guy when he was younger, he was sexay. when he got older, hmm. the mustache was weird, and the death scene was beyond hilarious.

Forgot to mention ... At the risk of bursting your bubble, but Quest of the Delta Knights is far from the worst film he's ever made. Have you seen Loving Deadly (and as a Warner fan, you'll want to!)? Ice Cream Man? Unnameable II?! But perhaps those last two are better forgotten ...

Cant get Loving Deadly anywhere.

Yes, I've seen Ice Cream Man and Unnameable II - but he didnt play 2 parts and narrate the damn things - this one he did, i consider this HIS movie, whereas the others you mentioned, i dont.
