or short title: Sec's no more.

Fabulous two parter all added together. LOVED the backstory in part 1, and it enhanced this to no end.

I totally predicted the extermination of Soloman, omg. Saw it coming a mile away.

There were soppy things that didnt belong, like Martha pining over the Doc when they were meant to be stopping the pigs coming up in the lift, and the lack of consequences to the Doctor's body, of grabbing the mast and absorbing that much gamma radiation, but alas, who wants to nitpick when you come away feeling this good?

Laszlo lived. The Doctor saved him. Khan is the only living Dalek. The hybrids all gone, the Daleks 3/4 gone, pretty good story really. Love the high body count, might even rival Resurrection.

And for those of you who know me, i enjoyed the pain best of all, screaming Doctor holding onto a mast, oh yes :) Almost as good as that straw in Smith and Jones.

All in all, the best this season so far, i thought. Very strong, yes. And i cant wait for Mark Gatiss' episode next week. He's a genius, you know.

The beauty of being in the UK and appropriating the tv from my toddler, for a change, and watching it myself!

Hee! :) It's a photomanip of Five in Six's jacket that a wonderfully mischevious OGer put together (credit's in my profile). Five (though unquestionably the hotter, IMO) and Six are my fav Docs, so I picked it cuz it was a little bit o' both.

Five!love! Without doubt the hotter. And whilst I heard Six was a bit of an unloved!doctor, I'm definitely warming to him through the audios. Best audio Doctor dontchaknow?

can you provided linkage? this I gotta see!

It came from a photoshop thread on OG, and many of the pictures are no longer there, but happily the Five in Six's Jacket one still exits. It's about halfway down the page: http://www.gallifreyone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69320&page=6&highlight=doctors+swapping+costumes

The artist's name is Tegan.

Hi.

Ok I guess that question is answered, see below.

Are you aware that NON-OG members can't see the forums and therefore your link is useless to some of us?
I can't join as I don't have a pop3 e-mail.

Tahnks anyway

Oh noes! Oops, that didn't occur to me. I narrow mindedly assumed that most of the lj Whovians would be OG members too. My bad, sorry! I have the full size version of both those pics on my computer and I'd be more than happy to share them, just not sure which way's the best. Perhaps it's time for another picspam over at Davison weekly?

Yay! I've inspired Potentcial Pic spam! :D

May I suggest, less common pictures, ya know Photo shoots, rare interviews and the like.
Don't get me wrong I'll take what ever you have, but would be nice to break from the 'Screen-cap trap'.

So what Is the RT pic premoting? The Hat sorta suggests Campion, but he looks Older than when he did that.

HUGS

can someone slap some new Who love into me? I'm totally not getting this series.

I enjoyed it. It didnt make me think, or leave me asking questions, or leave me spooked like Sapphire and Steel does, but it was a lovely little bit of fun on a SAturday night.

Probably wont rewatch unless its the mast scene. Ahem.

I think I actually might be asleep or something... I miss half the dialogue, or just instantly forget it, and I've lost any Dalek!fear I had, and the bad skience and history is just annoying me. I watched tonight's episode, and mocked it.

*ashamed*

What's wrong with me?

Maybe it's LJ - maybe Doctor Who fandom has corrupted me, all I can see is gay agenda :|

I won't ask about the mast scene.

I won't ask about the mast scene.

Just me and one of my long time kinks, pain.

Hence this being my favourite icon of all time, and my favourite Doctor-torture scene of all time. *points up at icon*

And i lub me some Doctor-torture. Mmm.

I was in shock through the whole episode. Loved - and by loved, I mean was terrified - every second of it, except maybe for Martha's angst. She's so awesome, I think the majority of New Whovians will have already forgotten Rose. And Old Whovians don't need to pine for companions, cause there are too many.

Martha's angst was quite distracting, yes.

But it was wow. I liked it a lot. Reminded me of Genesis, of at least 5 other episodes, Earthshock, mm. lots of references in there.
