RTD, you're forgiven for Rose. Just this once, okay?

You've proven in two parts so far that you really CAN write decent science fiction without all that lovey-dovey Wose in wub shit that made me gag for 2 seasons straight.

This 3 parter is DEFINITELY going to be the best, EVER, in Who history.

And they showed The Capitol on Gallifrey, and adhered to the original 1976 Deadly Assassin Time Lord costumes. OMG. Fangirl squee all right. OMG.

The Master's a sinister devious fuck all right. John Simm is SUPERB, evil and funny all at the same time. And makes dirty phone calls to his rival TIme Lord, lol.

JELLY BABY SQUEE!

How's Ten going to get young again, I wonder? It looked like, in the preview, that the Master would continue torturing the life out of him literally - i enjoyed that, yes.

I have goosebumps. Holy fuck. I am just so utterly incoherent.
Mood:: 'incoherent' incoherent

I can't think of anything to say, other than I really enjoyed the bit where the Doctor talked about Gallifrey, then they showed what it, or at least the Capitol, looked like.

I want to know what the hell our hermit trio is going to do, though. Lordy.

What do you think those Toclafane things are?

"Popular in the Southern United States, Grits is a type of maize porridge which is traditionally served at breakfast."

Reading that on the Fact File thing makes me giggle.

The children of Gallifrey, shunted forward into time to the end of the universe to survive the Time War, and the sound of Drums is the call for the Master to rescue them - the Time Lords didnt expect the Doctor to survive either.

That's just my theory anyway.

Hm... well that probably would break the Doctor's hearts. That's what the Master said, anyway. And he did call them "children", so... we'll see if you're right in the next episode!

Seeing as Martha's going to take the choice away from the Doctor and condemn them all to destruction, yes, it will break the Doctor's hearts.

That's my theory. We'll see if i'm right! 6 days to go! :D

Dear gawd, I was laughing and crying all the way through it. Couldn't even tell for sure whether it was cuz I liked it or not. Hafta disagree about Simm, however. He's a cool villain, but he's no Master (but I loved that he wore a cape. Almost makes up for the lack of moustache twirling). One crazy, irreverent Time Lord is all I can handle, and Ten already fits that bill more than adequately (though he wisely played that down in this one). And was it just me, or did the female Troclafane (sp?) sound very similar to the Gelth?

Bottome line, though, that was one ka-raaaazy episode! Eek!

Simm suited me nicely. Cant wait to rewatch! :D

Simm was brilliant. Argh. The whole thing was so good! I loved the little ways in which the Master'd copied the Doctor - jellybabies, screwdriver. & "Are you asking me on a date?" XD
His wife puzzles me. Just...what's with her? I can't decide if I think she's a brain-washed human, something to do with the sphere thingies or some other kind of alien. or something. =S

Damn I missed the preview though, video didn't tape that bit. =(

The preview was brief, mysterious, and left you gagging for more. Yes.

Simm rules. His wife is totally brainwashed though. Loved the way he called her 'companion' though... wonder if she is the anti-Rose?

Ooh, did he? I didn't notice that.
What do you mean by anti-Rose? =S Blonde companion, only evil?

Yes, he called her his companion, just after Lucy and the journalist lady were having their conversation and Lucy said she'd 'made her decision, for better or for worse.'

The Master marries his companions, it seems!

Rose stuck with Nine through thick and thin, and Lucy is sticking by Saxon/Master, that's what i mean by the anti-Rose.
