had me gaping in shock, surprise, rolling my eyes, and just generally wow. I didnt think it was as good as last week's, but that may be more my frame of mind than anything else.

It was Rusty, though. Yes. Through and through. Pop music, dancing, singing, weird CGI creatures, deus ex wrapping up of majour plot devices, etc. *groan*

I loved John Simm's Master, i really did.

I'm a bit overwhelmed, to be honest. I think some of it may not have made sense, but my brain can't remember right now. I thought last weeks was better in terms of WOW factor, but this was pretty nifty.

I'm currently rewatching all the Face of Boe episodes. Did NOT see that coming.

I read someone speculate it at OG, so i kindof knew that was coming, but still.

Cant believe Lucy shot the Master. And he willed himself not to regenerate. OMG.

Yeah, the time going backwards bit missed me entirely, and i'm usually pretty quick with this stuff. I guess it was the destruction of the paradox machine?

I asked my sister during the time rewind bit if she had any idea what was going on, and she said "nope, but I'll pick it up later". I got enough to keep me going, which is good enough for me. Might try and pick up on the finer bits when I rewatch ~~in a couple of hours~~ tomorrow.

I was screming at the TV "YOU CAN'T KILL THE MASTER!!!!!" They can't kill him, right?

I actually don't know what to think, because my brain is so utterly ded and not in a good way either. But one thing I do know is that the saddest part for me is that there is unlikely to be any more of the bestest Team Tardis ever. and for that, I cry.

Yup. I just cling to Utopia and remember the good times. Sigh.

I'm way too upset about no more Ten/Martha/Jack. I think that may have been the worst thing about it.

Spoil me please... who or what are the Toclafane? :'( I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO BE PUT UP, I MUST KNOOOWWWW.

And they kill off the Master? WHYYY. I LOVE JOHN SIMM'S MASTER. :((((( I must go cry now.

The Toclafane are the humans that went to Utopia, in cute little metal cases. Thanks to the Master. Since the Doctor locked the TARDIS' coordinates to only earth 2008 or the earth three trillion or whatever, he went there and found the humans he'd sent on in that rocket, and created the Toclafane out of them.

I'm about to go blog about it myself, but while I'm here, I'll just say, by and large, I agree with you. Wildly entertaining stuff, and finally, just as Simm's Master was starting to grow on me, blammo! The paradox machine made me quite frustrated, as did the deus ex you mention. Basically fifty minutes of total Who cheese. Fun, freaky cheese, but still cheese, nonetheless.

OooO my friend, Xeno, is a huge John Simm buff. Especially after seeing him in Life on Mars. She wants me to watch the show when I can.

yes, do, it's excellent. But I don't think I'll ever see John Simm in the same light again after this...
