: The Boy Who Left Home To Find Out About The Shivers

Ha ha ha. David CAN DO COMEDY! He's a natural.

Peter "Ghostbusters2" MacNicol was hokey, Christopher Lee was funny, and the whole thing was completely and entirely over the top cheesy, but adorable in a quirky way. And the fx were pure cheese.

Worth watching, yes :D Once, anyways.

I remember that episode! Not very clearly, as I saw it when I was maybe seven, but I do.

Now I need to rewatch it, because I actually know who these actors are now.

OMG I remember that episode! I used to watch Faerie Tale Theatre when I was little, I was fortuate to find that my local library had a few copies on VHS still after all these years! I thought it was halarious, not one of my favorite episodes (The Pied Piper with Eric Idle and Aladdin are a tie in taking that spot) But I still thought it was cool, and you know having Warner in it made it cooler :D

Having DavidW in anything makes it worth watching... over and over and over.

Obsessed? Me?

*wink*

Naaaaaaw ;)

I could watch The Omen over and over no problem...then I get asked questions at school about why I 'm watching some guy get decapitated over and over again :P

OH WOW!!! That's awesome. I wanna see, haha! Any screen caps?

Also, this is a big apology - I have been meaning to thank you for the DVD in the mail!! When I first got it, it didn't dawn on me it was from you as I had ordered a crapload of CDs for my uncle that week, but when I realized that your package had no ordering info or anything on it to help me figure out what it was for I then realized it, especially after looking @ it on my comp.

I popped it into my comp and watched it for a bit. I'm hoping to start it again when Dakota leaves me alone, haha! Thank you so so so so much girl! I really appreciate it and my sincerest apologies for not emailing you sooner.

Can i confess to complete and utter ignorance? I cannot remember what i sent. No worries cause its not like my swiss cheese brain remembers what the hell i did anyways!

I need to take some caps - he's wearing a long grey wig and dressed like 16th century pauper, but honest, he's funny. Between him and Christopher Lee, they get in a lot of jokes towards Peter MacNicol. Its really hokey and yet sweet :)

*hugs* back atcha :D

I confess, I only half-watched that episode a long time ago (I'm easily distracted!), but you're right, David Warner is a much-underestimated comedian. I've been saying for a long time that I wish he got to do more comedy! I'll have to dig the episode out and give it a decent viewing ... unless I happen to get a DVD copy first. ;-) (The one episode I remember from long, long ago when it was first aired was The Princess and the Pea with Tom Conti--another heartthrob of mine who is also supernice in person.

He's genuinely funny, omg. Really funny. Like Work is a 4 letter word, its understated humour, downplayed for hilarious effect. Perfect.
