Ok whose fault is this?
caribbean_moon, i think its yours.
I'm up to episode 4 of series 1, and LOVING IT. John Simm is amazing, I love the Dirty Harry style shootouts and dirty bent copper stuff, and its really a brilliant show.
Simm's kindof a rat-faced kind of guy, isnt he? But i loved his Master so much that i decided to check into Life on Mars, and its damn good.
Yes. And loving the music, hell yeah! And the accents, they're so Manchester/Salford /Teh North, its terrific.

OooO I'm glad you like the series. :) I have yet to see it, but my friend is obsessed with it. She's told me a lot of great things about it, especially the accents, haha. Hopefully I can keep an eye for it when they have it again on TV.

I got S1 as a boxset for a birthday though, and decided to give it a go.
I got hooked.
And I still am. It is one of the best written things in recent years, and everywhere you look you can tell things have been thought out (bar a few anachronisms that weren't meant to be there). Gene Hunt, I think, is perhaps one of the best characters ever invented, and whilst Sam is something of a wimp, he grows on you.
Also, Teh Northern influence for the win. I miss it down south.
I've spent all weekend watching my recently-purchased S2, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. How much have you seen now?
Ashes To Ashes, Bring it On!!
