I watched that series when I was unable to see DW (I'm still waaaaaay behind, but waiting until I can watch the eps with someone) and now I can't wait to see John Simm in DW. EEK!!

Cool, you like Brian May too?! Do I see a pattern here, speaking of rail thin? No no, it's the talent, that's it. And that he too is a supernice, down-to-earth guy ... except he loves the Internet (no surprise that he's a tech-head, being an astronomer and having built his own guitar and all) *and* has no problem with being fangirled. (I read he and the band used to bring food to a homeless fan who would follow them all over. He even wrote a little memorial for her in his blog over at brianmay.com when she died. Have you seen his site? I haven't been there in a while, but last time I was there, he was very active on it.) I also narrowly missed meeting him; he was signing autographs at the music store where I used to work, but none of my friends there bothered to tell me he was even in town until afterwards! Yes, a guitar god indeed! :-) (Oh, and that beautiful voice ... I actually like the songs he sings on better than the ones Freddy does. He makes me! *pant pant*)
Oh, i love Brian May. And YES. I have a thing for rail-thin, always have. My better half was a 32 waist when i married him!
Brian's the best guitarist in the world. His talent is endless. And yeah, i know he embraces the net and likes his fangirls, of which there are *many*.
I like being David's fan first and foremost, though. He deserves devoted fans, even if he doesn't want them. The lady next to me had seen his Hamlet back in 65, and i quickly became known as 'David Warner's groupie' by the people sitting around me. Until i became 'bloodbath girl' that is!
Oh and I saw Brian, albeit at a distance, when he played God Save the Queen from the palace roof in 2002 at the Golden Jubilee Concert - better half and I had tickets, and sat Row C seat 22. Very close to the front of the stage, very close to everyone who came on, inc Ozzy, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, etc etc. Times to DIE for!
