this Bowie obsession

of mine has led to songs being stuck in my brain for hours, being sung while doing the school run, and movies being watched.

Like Labyrinth. Woof. Gawd i love his orange hair in the Ziggy era. Yes.

And lots of time spent on Youtube watching old music videos.

ACK. Not out-doing David Warner on my omg-i-wanna-shag-him-NOW priority list, but wow.

Was talking to the lovely BF last evening about who should play Doctor #11 and he said, "David Warner, but I doubt they'd convince him to do it." I just had to share...

I imagine talking David Warner into doing Who wouldnt be as difficult as talking RTD into casting someone who isnt in his thirties....

From what i read on OG, RTD is the reason they wont be casting David Warner, even though MANY fans want him as the 11th Doctor. RTD likes his Doctors to have mainstream sex appeal, apparently.

Good thing RTD is leaving after the next series!

We seriously need an older Doctor next. SRSLY. And it's beyond frustrating that RTD doesn't seem to get that. Especially when he admits to loving the First Doctor so much. (I'm beginning to strongly suspect that's just lip service.)

Damn right its lip service. Gay agenda indeed.

Yes, we need an older Doctor, and David would be PERFECT for it.

I think my Henry IV tickets are in the post now :) Not until middle of August though...

O_o, Labyrinth! Or, as I like to call it, "Is it just me or are Bowie's Tight Goblin Pants getting tighter in every scene?", lol. But I do love that movie, especially the masquerade ball sequence. Beautiful music, beautiful everything. And though Bowie's androgy look has never had much appeal to me, his voice is the living sex. What is it with these lean, scrawny guys who have gorgeously masculine voices??

Oh yes, those tights are lovely. But I've seen the full Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth, full frontal nudity. He's equipped, oh yes!

I love his face, i love his eyes. I love his nose. he's just *beautiful* and when he speaks, he's even more beautiful.

I think it must be "let's find [livejournal.com profile] leoniedelt's old posts and comment on them" day.

But it's relevant. cos I watched Labyrinth for the first time in about twelve years yesterday, and I now totally understand where you're coming from.

There was also the life on mars element, and Best of Bowie on my iPod, and all the stuff you can find on youtube (infact, I'm currently watching this) because it's also "bowie is awesome" day.

yes, his voice is teh sex.
