I've just started watching Wire in the Blood, first series, first episode.

I watched a lot of Casualty reruns when I was pregnant in 2003, homebound and fat and tired, and I liked that cute little hospital porter feller, Robson Green. I think he had a rather northern accent in that show, so its nice to see him and his baby blues and that tremendous nose of his making good with the RP in Wire.

Uh oh. I've got a feeling i'm going to end up watching all the way through series 5, probably in one big blur, like I did Life on Mars. Yes.

Oh, and he can sing too - his Unchained Melody cover is gorgeous, with Jerome whathisface.

Ah, Robson & Jerome. My parents had a tape of their songs, we used to listen to it in the car. Singing along to 'Daydream Believer' and 'Up On The Roof', or Dad swerving the car back and forth across empty roads in time to 'Little Latin Lupe Lu'. I didn't hear them again for years after the tape broke, and then I got internet and downloaded them, and it was a rush of wonderful memories. 'I Believe' has always been my favourite - of the slower songs, that is. I wrote a set of drabbles to it :o)

Wire in the Blood and Touching Evil are both truly fabulous. But then, I have a thing for Robson. *cough*
