I've seen recently to get me through things and kill time...

SPACEBALLS - I see your Schwartz is as big as mine!
OMG i laughed til it hurt. So many fun jokes taking the piss out of blacks, Jews, etc. A hoot. Only Mel Brooks could do it.
And the Alien John Hurt cameo was truly funny.

That was Bill pre-porcelain veneers on his teeth.  And you can clearly see the sectoral heterochromia in his left eye too - the bottom of the iris has a brown segment in it. Cool. Very.

LOST HIGHWAY - what the fuck is going on here? Does *anyone* know what this movie is about??
Bill is sexay as a wife-killer, dressed in all black and then prison uniform. I'd fuck him, yes.

CASPER - downright cute. Adorably so.
Bill is really shaggable as the lost dad ghost therapist guy in glasses. I'd hump his leg, oh yes.

LAST SEDUCTION - i watched this to see him get mace sprayed down his throat. Sort of funny  i guess, but I didnt really laugh too much.

MALICE - i remember this movie from a long time ago. Rewatched it, it was very good. Even Nicole Kidman was good.

ZERO EFFECT - omg his Elvis on amphetamines impression at the beginning had me laughing - his singing was horrible! An awkward kook of a character, but Bill does it with style and class, oh yes. A really funny take on the gumshoe detective genre of movies.  I'd still fuck him.

ID4 - i caught on tv the other night. Very good movie. Hokey computer virus ending, but still. And the Pres Whitmore speech really had me proud to be an American. Yikes!

I'm about to rewatch While We Were Sleeping today, some time... Also i need more icons.

ID4 revolts me a bit - they kill off the homosexuals, the strippers and the infertile, but the dog makes it.

I try not to think about things too deeply, okay? Hurts my brain.

I just enjoy the eyecandy and fuck the message ;)

A few times I've had friends ask me "did you ever see this messed up movie where nothing is explained?" Then I'd say "Lost Highway right?"

I love Spaceballs. One of my favorite Brooks films.

You heard about the new animated series, yes?

I hadn't, but if Bill Pullman does Lone Starr again, I'll be watching. Yes.

They haven't said anything about who is voicing Lone Starr, but they've indicated that Daphne Zuniga is coming back as Vespa, and that Mel Brooks will definitely be playing Skroob and Yogurt again.

Finding info on this series has actually been somewhat difficult.

Spaceballs is great, especially the John Hurt scene!

The only other Bill Pullman movie I'm familiar with is The Serpent and the Rainbow--scary, freaky stuff!

BTW, he comes from a small town just south of here! One of our local heroes (along with Philip Seymour Hoffman).

I saw clips of Serpent on Youtube, and decided i HAD TO HAVE IT. Ahem. :)

Local hero, eh? Does he ever turn up in town? God i wish i was there, now! Except the health insurance situ in America is inexcusable...

I saw him on the Craig Ferguson show about six months ago or so, and he happened to mention that he was from Hornell, New York ... I was like, I've been there! It's about 60 miles south of here, in the Finger Lakes area. I recall him saying something about how he was surprised when he came back for a visit once that the "Welcome to Hornell" sign now has something like "home of Bill Pullman" on it! (Philip Seymour Hoffman is actually more local; he's from Fairport, which is in the same county as me; he made a much-publicized appearance in town last year, right after he won his Oscar. His mother still works here as a local judge; she was with him at the Oscars!)

PS: Now that I know you like him, if I'm ever near Hornell again, I'll have to look for that sign and take a picture for you! Unfortunately, I couldn't find one on the official town website.

Aww, bless you. :) What a sweetheart.

Yeah, he's from Hornell, I found out that much with google. Heh.

No one really mentions his eye on hte net though, but i *love* it. Its amazingly sexy and incredibly rare.

Like DW, you can never tell what colour his eyes are in a film, except Serpent shows you clearly what colour they are - blue with some green, some yellowy highlights, and that lovely chunk of brown.

I HAD to make a banner.

Pullman was also in Ruthless People and ID4; did you ever see those? (If you haven't, Ruthless People I would recommend; ID4 I would not.)

Havent seen Ruthless People yet. ID4 is the first thing I can remember him in.

I was about to mention that film, The Serpent and the Rainbow. That's one of my all time favorite Pullman flicks :D
