My pic with Colin is out of focus. Bummer. What a lovely guy though!

Peter was dour the whole day and really didnt want to be there. It was all over his face. His behaviour the whole day was plain and clear - he was doing it for the money. Sad really, when you find out your hero isnt such a hero after all. Ah well.

I thought Paul McGann was going to kiss me. We talked about Withnail and how much of a pain in the arse REG is to work with. It was fab. I may have to join the Paul McGann Oestrogen Brigade... His autograph even has 2 kisses next to it.

I'm not surprised Paul McGann almost kissed you - you're so pretty! What great pictures, you look SO cute in them.

You owe us a MUCH longer post, including a word-for-word transcript of everything you and Paul McGann talked about. Hee!

Aww, thank you so much. I'm a little chubbly and a little hot / fangirly in those pics, hence the blushing. My goodness it was HOT in that school.

I didnt get to talk to Paul long as he needed a pee break, and my friend and i were the last ones he saw before he took 5 for nature's call.

He just said that REG was a pain in the arse to work with, so finicky and fretful over everything, and that it was the best holiday he ever had filming that, and that Liverpool were kicking off shortly and he was hoping they'd win.

And i told him what an honour it was to meet him, called him sir, (couldnt help it) and shook his hand, thanked him for the pic, and moved on. The queues for well over 400+ people just to see 3 celebs were REALLY LONG so you sort of felt compelled to get your goodies and move out of the way. And he needed to pee, so i really felt guilty taking any more of his time than that.

Maybe later on i can take a pic of his autograph for you - it has two Xs next to it, which are two kisses :D

Yeah it was a bit wild there, but so worth it, so very worth it indeed, and Paul was everything you'd want a celeb to be - calm, cool, confident, friendly, amazingly sexy, and not surrounded by ten bodyguards or even slightly afraid of being mobbed. He was amazing, and really gave thoughtful answers to questions instead of repeating the same old trite schpiel he'd done in a thousand other interviews, etc.

His queue was the longest, funnily enough, but he wasnt fazed at all by the fangirling. Pete, otoh, looked dead sick of it. Colin was also very friendly and lovely, and seemed to love the kids/teens the best.

I've never been a big PMG fan, really, until i saw him on stage. Pete didnt want to be there, Colin was hogging the show, but Paul was so zen, so calm and cool, and his answers were so well thought out, unlike the same drivel we've heard from Pete over and over about how he thought he was too young, etc.

And Paul won me over totally when it came to the autograph/photo op - no uncomfortable air approaching him, maybe because i had no expectations, but he was so laid back and so unbelievably zen, and such a nice guy to talk to. The other two kind of have themselves up on pedestals, Paul was a human being, you know, just another guy. It was amazing.

Of the 3, he's the one i'm most glad i got to meet, and he's not even the reason i went.

He certainly is HAWT, yes. Wow. His eyes are amazing, oh so big and gorgeous, and his personality just bubbles out. He was well worth waiting for.

I love the pics! Peter Davison doesn't look too happy, but the photos of Colin and Paul are GAWGEOUS! Paul McGann IS a cutie pie, isn't he ;) And Colin, just adorable.

Paul is very compact (small, strong, thin, well built), but very gorgeous indeed, in real life.

Question: You said the Queues were long, when abouts in the day was it that you got to each of them? It may go someway to explain there relative attitudes.

No, Pete wasnt rude or uncooperative; he signed 2 things for me AND took a pic with me. But he wasn't enthusiastic and happy to meet people like Colin and Paul were. He was just doing a job, yanno? The look on his face tells the whole story - he's sick of fangirls, i think.

In order: I stood in a queue for 45 minutes for Pete (who i got to first and was in the first 15 fans to get to him), for 15 minutes for Colin and for over an hour for Paul. And it was worth it ALL.

Since i was one of the first to get to Pete, he should have been happy. I ate my lunch sitting on the floor in a queue to get to him first, and I was about number 15 in his queue. But he looked considerably dour when we came in the room, and he didnt really cheer up at all, as far as I could tell.

Then again i had been stalking him all day with a camera so he might've been afraid i'd kiss him or something. Hee :D

I sympathise, by the time I got to the front of a Peter Davison queue in 1998, I was quite terrified. He was scowling and sulking and generally quite miserable. But then I asked him what he'd been doing lately and he slagged off Michael Winner for ten minutes. It probably killed his film career, but he seemed terribly happy about it.

Ah well. I had a good time, that's all that counts!

You're so sweet :) Peter's the reason i went, but that's ok. I came away with a new appreciation for Paul, yes!

And they talked about David Warner in the morning 4 Doctors panel, hee :D - he's apparently a hero of Colin Baker, his 66 Hamlet an inspiration, as Colin sat in the audience. Very cool :D

Had no computer for a couple of days, and see how behind I get! ;) Lovely pics, and I'm glad you had such a great time. Too bad about Petey; I've heard similiar stories from other Who fans who've met PD. That pic with him made me laugh, though. Reminded me of my own family photographs. When I was little, everyone else in the family would have big, cheesy smiles on their faces(like Colin and Paul)...and there there'd be me, looking just like Pete does! I dunno, you could call that "Petey looking intense" or "Petey practices his sultry look" or something. Thanks for posting!
