I talked to

Rob Shearman at OG's chat room tonight. He was gobsmacked how few people know who David Warner is!

I wasnt really interested in talking to Rob about Rob, but about David Warner! Anyone who has met the man is a lucky lucky person.

We had a long talk about him, it was fantastic. He said that David is shy, and pleasant and a really nice man.

Apparently after RSC plays, the actors head to a pub. If he remembers the name of it, he will PM me, he said. Which will be very handy to know.

OMG, i am so nervous about it, and excited, and ready to squee, about Stratford in August.

I CANT WAIT.

*melts into a puddle of fangirl squee*

*gets back to work on TF, sigh*

The Dirty Duck is the traditional haunt for the actors' post-play drinks. Just follow the road round from the theatre and you can't miss it really. It's got a second sign calling it The Black Swan. I once nearly spilled Sam West's pint.

But we've also seen a few actors in hotel bars and things. Your best bet is probably to go to the stage door and then stalk from there ;)

I stalked PD at the Invasion - by time it came round for signings, he was thoroughly pissed at me, hence the look on his face in the photo...

I'm worried i might scare off David by being the lecherous fangirl who wants his body that i am! lol

Sounds like a plan - i need to look at a map, basically.

I want to talk to him, but i have no idea what i would say other than 'i love you'... and then he will get a restraining order.

It is sad how few people know of David! I always knew who he was by his face, but not name wise. Only within the past five years did I keep his name in my mind until it was etched in permanently.

OooO British guys are my favorite anyway. If I ever marry one I'll be blessed. My first crush was British. I liked him in 6th grade. Norman Pace from the comedy team Hale & Pace. Man, talk about obsessed, haha. Then I became a fanatic over Jonathan Hyde. My favorite British crush. OooO. I'm surprised I have not clung onto him again and of course actors from HP like Alan Rickman. Oh my, haha. I've had many American crushes like Lance, but the Brits are what I enjoy, hehe! OooO Peter too, although I admire him immensely more than a crush.

I like the British so much i moved over here and married one ;) Been an anglophile as long as I can remember, and an english accent was all it took to melt me into a puddle, even when i didnt know about different regional accents or that RP is hardly ever spoken in real life.
