Crotchwoot rant

slight spoiler possibly within...

'Abaddon' is the name of my srsly big bad guy in Fallen, which i havent worked on since the end of Nanowrimo - everyone's gonna think i ripped it off from Torchwood, now!

WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.  *pout*

Well take this, Crotchwoot - i started Fallen 7, almost 8 years ago and used the name Abaddon for the bad guy FIRST. So there. NYAH.

Well, its difficult because everything in sci-fi, and indeed the general movie poplace, has been done before.

Look how many times the Body Swapping themed movie thing has been done. Mom switches with kid - Freaky Friday, done at least twice. Father switches with son - a Dudley Moore one, and there was another one at the same time in the 80s. Girl switches with boy - that new one out, what it called?. Man switches with woman - Dr Jeckyll and Mrs Hyde. Man switches with man - Trading Places.

DUH. Same concept, different spin and voila, another blockbuster hit.

So I can see that, but still. An ancient Hebrew name for a demon, and he has to dig THAT specific one out when there are hundreds to choose from? Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
