I have changed my layout, too. In fact, it isn´t easy to decide. So many samples there are. If you like to take a look on my journal, you´ll see it. Do you like it? Yours is nice. Really. It needs even a lot of time and work for me, to put in some more details, but i try it whenever i have the time. Also need more experience to come along with all the things. Obviously you used to work with lj even longer than me. My English knowledges aren´t perfect as well. That makes it more complicated. You said, my English sounds great to you but i imagine that i even make a lot of mistakes, isn´t it? Please, be honest.
You do far better with english than i could ever do with the smattering of spanish that I remember from high school!
I did a css style sheet for flexible squares, got it off a design community and then re-jigged it to look the way i wanted it to and to keep my banner at the top.
