David's Hamlet (1965, directed by Peter Hall) apparently lives on only in peoples' memories and photographs.

The RSC archives at the Shakespeare Centre Library don't even have a copy of it for viewing. If they don't have it, it doesn't exist, they said.

Woe.

Tis sadly true, my Mum made a similar search to refresh her memories of the production. Taping of theatre productions is thankfully more widespread now.
