The Last Detective episode one:

Time has not been kind to David Troughton. Not at all. It was hard to recognise him til he spoke.
Should've guessed he'd be the 'bad' guy. Helluvan actor, yes. Even if time hasn't been kind. I felt more for Raymond than I ever did for Bob Buzzard the fascist, though he was very good at that character as well, just wasn't a likable guy, too much of a smug bastard for my liking.

PD makes as good a detective as he does a doctor. Yes.  He's obviously a very sympathetic human being, and that makes it easy to play characters like Stephen Daker or Dangerous Davies, which he does *so* well.

And he's still hawt in a pair of glasses, even over 50. Yes.

I need *more* of this show, yes. ASAP.

he always looks adorable,and the glasses make things even better. ^.^ then again, i can't be very objective.

I confess that this is one of his newer things I haven't really seen much of. I seem to like to pretend I live in the late seventies/early eighties Petey-wise, except for the BBV spin-offs, BF and Rigor Mortis and such.

But then I am young, and still infatuated with his earlier labrador puppy-ness and swishy hair; give me time... ;)

He wont look like a puppy at the Invasion, hence me trying to catch everything of his that's new so i'm not surprised, kwim?
