are interfering with my ability/spare time to write! ARGH!
But damnit, now i'm getting my hands on Cross of Iron, and Wing Commander. I've seen the Hornblower episodes, i've even seen Tron (god was that weird) and Hansel and Gretel (which was rubbish, but he *sings* in it!). I even have the Total Recall 2070 episodes. My god was that rubbish, but DW was superb, as usual.
Seen Star Trek V this week, Star Trek VI, and an episode of TNG where he played a Cardassian, that was brilliant (with the help of Patrick Stewart's acting, natch). Even watched the bit in Titanic. League of Genrltmen's Apocalypse, which isnt my brand of humour but DW was so over the top it was hysterical. I've seen the Hogfather bit this week as well.
And gotten my hands on Nebulous (thanks,
alocin42!) season 1 and 2, and am also trying to find the other Big Finishes he's done (Sapphire and Steel, etc). His voice is as majestic as watching him is.
Tall gangly guys *do* it for me. The taller the better. Blue eyes preferred. RP accent a necessity. PD is 6'1, I've read that DW is either 6'2 or 6'3. Gangly, not muscly - that's why i went off Michael Shanks. Too many muscles, *ick*. Before season 3 Stargate, MS was adorable, then he just got fugly, all gun toting and shooty and muscly. Ugh.
Will my fangirling ever stop?!?! :D Rawr.
I just finished Straw Dogs (1971). It was a fabulous film, i thought. Very true, Yankee imports are sometimes treated like that even today. Hell, i introduce myself on the phone as 'the yank' or 'your friendly neighbourhood yank' depending on who i'm speaking to. Never been mobbed or had 5 burly guys with rifles try to break in my house, but the 'outsider'ness to the way they treated Dustin Hoffman is still very much alive in some parts of the UK, yes.
But it was David Warner i watched it for - he played Henry Niles, the handicapped tall guy with the longish hair and the mental state of a child, who accidentally choked Janice to death. The hair was so 1971 that I didnt cap it, its a bit much even for me, but the way he was slapped, hit and abused was sad, very sad indeed. I wanted to hug him, yes. And Dustin Hoffman went totally postal defending his home, and that was cool.

And then you will know why, to me, Mr W will ALWAYS be Silas, son of Silas.

To me, he'll always be Jack the Ripper, though his role as Morgan was so adorable words can hardly begin to describe it.

*swoons at the loveliness of DW*
BTW, did you get my email the other day with that link in it?

Butt-naked PS is a lovely thing to see, even if the man has no hair on his head.
And yes, its the 'there are four lights' one. DW is very good as a Cardassian torturer, even bringing his little girl in to see PS's condition and be nonchalant about it.
