Watched this today (off and on between things).

Firstly, Pat Troughton was fab as the priest, though the accent was muddled.
Second, David was fan bloody tastic as Keith Jennings, the photographer. Yes. Til he got his head chopped off.

God i love RP.

I bet the name Damien has totally gone off. I'd never name a child of mine by that name, nope. Or a rottweiler.

edited: I loved David's hair, too. So 1976, and yet still so incredibly sexy. I'm capping, I may make icons.
Mood:: 'bored' bored

i remember watching this for the first time and thinking "why is that priest guy so familiar? WHYYYY?!"

;) didn't realize who he was until much later.

Hee :D I knew who he was, but his reddened watery eyes weren't very familiar. Until David Warner later revealed that the priest was riddled with cancer and shooting morphine several times a day.

Damien..... Damien..... :/

Heh, at the Q&A after the first public screening of League of Gentlmen's Apocalypse I asked Mark Gatiss what David Warner made of the script.

Mark said: He was glad of the work!

Which was (obviously) tongue in cheek, but he went on to say there was a scene cut when he and Reece climb the church scaffolding. They take a minute out to discuss how much Doctor Pea looks like 'that bloke who gets his head chopped off in The Omen'.

Ha ha ha, yes, i know the beheading is famous, utterly.

Mark Gatiss is a cheeky bloke, isnt he :) I'd love to meet him one day. I'm REALLY enjoying Nebulous and his work in Sympathy for the Devil...

Of all the famous persons I've ever met, Mark Gatiss and Jeremy Dyson were the ones who I felt most comfortable talking to. Along with, it has to be said, Peter Davison. ;)

Don't know if you noticed in my blog but I met Billie last week! She's tiny!!! But weirdly she seemed more nervous than me...

I did, actually. I didnt have anything to say because I dont care for her at all, but I bet i'm shorter than she is :P

Not as thin as she is though!

Glad PD is easy to talk to; i'm going to be a stuttering mess in about 3 weeks' time. OMG. Thank goodness for my recent spree of fangirling someone else, so my crush on PD wont be so overwhelming when i get to the con!

I don't generally fanboy actresses as I think they have a much easier ticket than their male counterparts (if they're rubbish they can get away with it as long as they're pretty), so while I was generally supportive of Rose, I never really crushed on her. For one thing, she was in the charts when I was still at school so I always think of her as older than me even though she's far younger.

She was great in the play, really moving, and a billion miles from Rose, but I was still unlusting.

But she just *sparkles* in 'real life'. She was clearly intimidated by the more peculiar fans lurking by the stage door but her eyes were so bright and dancing and full of life. She's an absolute gorgeous little pixie!

*cough* I'll get my coat.

Different stroke for different folks. :)

Have you seen the episode of Hardware where Peter Davison shows up and everyone fangirls him weirdly? Yes? No? Maybe.

As long as you don't fondle his thumbs or sniff his pen erotically after he autographs something, like that one lady did, you'll be fine.

No, i havent, but it sounds like a must-see :D

I'll try not to lick his ears or anything weirdly erotic like that. *wears a straitjacket to prevent embarrassment*

The teacher I had for my Adobe Photoshop course (who is also the teacher for my Flash course) is named Damien. It's weird.

One time The Omen was on TV and I switched it over just to see Pat the Priest run to the church and not make it.

Dood, he was run through by a pole. WEIRD. As was the pane of glass that chopped off David Warner's head. Really weird.

Never ever ever would i ever use the name Damien, nope. Ruined for me, forever.

We (me, mom, dad) think that Tom Cruise and Katie Holme's little kid looks like Damien. We always call the kid Damien lol.

Cant say i've paid any attention to their kid, to be honest. I'll go have a butcher's in a bit though.

This couple who had a kid on the 6.6.2006 named him Damien. They're just asking to have nasty things happen to them...

I'm fluffing with my top picture again. Yes.

The colourised ones were nice, but so is some lovely 1976 David.

Mmm.
