Cats like a little bit of dairy food every now and then. Too much makes them sick. Kittens especially need to be fed a variety of tastes and textures, as what they eat now determines how fussy they are when they are older.
Gerry still likes the cheese flavouring off Wotsit crisps, and licks the fat off the plate when we've had cheese on toast.
Oh, we're totally used to them licking the mayo and butter off plates, no surprise there. They're always after pumpkin's bedtime cheese, too. One of them licked the bowl after i made potato soup yesterday, can't remember which...
But nicking sugary candies? Hmm.
The one she nicked, incidentally, was toffee flavoured. Strange cat indeed.
Could you tell me, what that is, those "milky babies"? My cat used to eat spaghetti with tomato sauce for example or vanilla cream with rum. After eating this she was drunken!!! That was really funny to see how she staggered around! Of course we didn“t give it to her once more. lol :D
My cat had a love for glazed donuts. He'd lick the glaze right off the dough. He was also quite fond of the milk in my cereal, particularly if my cereal choice happened to be a sugary one. Major sweet tooth, that cat had! (Prolly why he was 15 lbs for most of his life, lol!)
I watched her nick it, and then listened to her growl about it any time boy-kitten got near her. Ha ha, she was guarding it like a dead mouse. It was a toffee flavoured milky baby. Silly kitten.

The kittens both nicked one and ran off with it. In fact, Moneypenny was growling about hers... lol

But...did you put the milky babies in a place where they were an irresistable temptation for the kitten? If so, it was entrapment!
