this Bowie obsession

of mine has led to songs being stuck in my brain for hours, being sung while doing the school run, and movies being watched.

Like Labyrinth. Woof. Gawd i love his orange hair in the Ziggy era. Yes.

And lots of time spent on Youtube watching old music videos.

ACK. Not out-doing David Warner on my omg-i-wanna-shag-him-NOW priority list, but wow.

The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976)

God almighty is Bowie simply oooozing sex appeal in this movie. Woof.  Obv. at the height of his coke use, oh yes. He barely weighs 9 stone, i'd imagine.

I dont usually do androgyny, like Marilyn Manson never ever did anything for me at all. But Bowie? Mmmyes.

The movie aint half bad either. I love movies made the year I was born, like the Omen, and this. Gives me some insight into what the world was like when I came into it. Bit gratuitous in the floppy willies department, but still.

edited: and he's LEFT HANDED. *dies*

I've had...

Bowie on the brain, for several days now.

"Its a godawful small affair, to the girl with the mousey hair..."

ARGH. Somebody make it stop.

Oh, and GIP. I ought to do an icon dump soon.

The Prestige (2006)

Hugh Jackman is still a hunk, yes.

And David Bowie as TESLA, in a movie? He even managed to LOOK like the man, let alone act like i've always imagine him as acting.

(all the best actors are named DAVID, i swear they are!! Here's even more proof!)

Fabulous. Worth watching, if only for the history lesson on Tesla. Truly fantastic.
