There's only one baby! Exactly the same date as i had thought, 11 weeks 0 days, today. Due 19 September.

We were seen immediately and out in 25 minutes total. Helps when you know the scan tech, oh yes. I could've kissed her, she was so very nice to us.

She did the nuchal fold measurement for me, which isn't offered here except privately for £180, and it was fine. 0.1 and had to be less than 0.3, or something to that effect. Nose bone also fine. I didn't ask for them, and wasn't going to have them, but when she offered, i accepted! lol

Baby growing very well, waving arms and legs at the camera. Uterus fine, ovaries fine, placenta high and getting big.

She gave us 5 pictures for free, bless her heart. They usually cost 5 pounds apiece!

Goober wasn't really keen on the scan but better half showed her a moving baby and stuff on the screen. And she went to school talking about her mommy having another baby :)

Aww! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I'm still so impressed with your mad planning skillz for goober II. Down to the day! Wowzers. I didn't know a baby had arms and legs to wave at only 11 weeks. Nature is an amazing thing. :)

Its a matter of knowing your body - i didnt know mine as well when i had goober, i was still quite a virgin at the whole cervical mucus thing. Taking Charge of Your Fertility is what i read, and we did conceive goober with one month of trying, but we sortof did it like bunnies for a whole week to make sure we had her.

This time, i had watched my cycle for a few months before hand, knew i ovulated round about day 12 of my cycle which is fabulously early and meant i had a nice long luteal phase of 16 days, so we timed it to 'do the deed' as they say in TTC circles, on day 11 of my cycle.

To be honest, it was the day after Christmas - we were knackered, and it was the only time we could manage it! lol

I had no idea i'd get pregnant so easily. I really didnt. But, shows i know my body quite well, and when properly medicated (Armour, HC), it works quite well, too. :)

Nature is indeed a wonderful thing. The baby turned from a bean with a tail into a baby shaped person in the last few weeks. Its really cool, actually. :)

Thanks, Happy :D
