I've been watching AVPP, eps 3,4,5 and 6.

I am now more than ever convinced I WISH i were Lyn Turtle in my icon. DAMN. I'd shag the pants off that guy. Damn.  Why wasnt i born about 25 years earlier, and on this continent? lol

He's adorable even balding and awkward. Adorable i tell you. Utterly.

I wish i was a better photoshopper, i'd photoshop myself in this icon with him. Mmmmmmmmm. :)

It is indeed.

Horrifically when my girlfriend, brother and I were talking to Mark after the East Finchley premiere of the League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse, he was looking a little ticked off at the cameras and I said: how many pictures do you want of Peter Davison?

I got that nervous calebrity laugh that says so clearly: God, get me away from this obsessed man...

How is Mark Gatiss, is he a nice bloke?

I fancied him in one of those BBV things, the one where he plays a cute doctor that ends up killed, with his foppy Hugh Grant 90s hair-do...

Is he as huge a fanboy of Who as RTD obviously is?

And does he want pictures of PD? lol

He's a great bloke, and we randomly ended up in the same pub as him after the event but decided not to bother him any further...

As to his fanboyishness, well, RTD's single New Adventure put the Doctor on a gritty council estate and had him fighting the extra-dimensional cocaine monster with whores and pimps and gaybashers and added grit.

Mark Gatiss wrote Last of the Gaderene, which has UNIT and the original Master and is like an unmade Pertwee TV episode...

He's a massive fanboy, but he's got a different angle to RTD, I think. If Gatiss's pitch for the show had got off the ground it would have been a complete relaunch with a Doctor who didn't even know who the Daleks were.

And I'm sure everyone wants pictures of PD...

I didnt read any NAs except Lungbarrow - i didnt like what they did with the characters, it just left a funny taste in my mouth.

I think i'd prefer Gatiss' version of the new Who to RTDs... I like new angles that dont concern sex and sexuality - thas best left to the fangirls to squee about privately, not blatantly stated in the show :/ Just my humble opinion though, and who am i anyways?

Yes. I'll take everyone's pictures of PD. Yes. Mmm.

I keep meaning to see those, in fact I nearly bought them on their first release all those years ago.

It was the 'British X-Files' tag that made me run a mile. Is there somewhere one can download them illegally?
