Well i'm gobsmacked. It was superb. It didn't outdo Cruel Immortality, but it's in line as my second favourite ever.

I did have to listen to it twice to 'get' it, but i blame that on my current state of brain chemistry, yes. The mystery at the end with Gold's fate, i cant WAIT to see how that ends up being revealed in the future. yes.

Well done, Big Finish.

David Warner, i love you, again.

Oh man I can't wait to hear that one! I rather like Gold (not as much as Silver mind you ;) )

I really enjoyed it. There were two plot elements i knew they'd reverse, but i was stumped figuring out how they'd get out of what they'd created (the writers i mean)... course that again could just be my state of mind at the mo making me a little more succeptible to the drama ;)

That just makes it all the more interesting I'll bet! Sometimes I wonder how the writers come up with these stories :D

Well, the first twist, i expected would happen. The second twist, i never expected, and i was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how the hell they'd un-do it...

It was fabulous :D

My fic has some similar twists in it too, so i know how they think these things up, i'm just not in the state this week to think like them. Not at all.

Now I'm just itching to hear it! These audios more than anyother have the best twists (though Full Fathom Five had the best Collings related twist I've ever heard lol).

Aww *hug* I hope you feel better so that you can start thinking like them again! I need to carve some time out to read your fics, the only fanfics I've ever read were some realy great Blakes 7 stuff from a friend of mine. :D

I gotta carve some time out to finish the S&S one i started - at the mo its a little over 1k words and a handful of handwritten notes on my desk and thoughts i can scarcely pin down in my head!

But its on my to-do list now that i'm mostly migraine-free, yes.

*wants to hear more S&S* I finished the ones you sent me :o) They was all fab. Especially Cruel Immortality, it rocked. I saw a couple of twists coming in that one though, but it didn't get any less good :o) I got confused by the ending though...

Ruby saved them in much the same way that it is implied that Silver saved S&S from their 40s diner fate...

iconlub btw. Yes. :D

I got that (sorta), the thing that puzzled me was - where did the Matron go? Ruby sang the song and appeared, and all the danger went away. How? And I don't remember an implication about how Silver saved them from the diner (except that he did). Granted, I did listen to most of the stories on my way to and from work, ie almost completely zombified by hideously early mornings. The fresh air only wakes me up so far :o)

And yeah, I'm glad to finally be able to use this icon :o) Dunno who made it though.

Its not really stated how he saved them, or when, or how long they were imprisoned, and i like it that way; keeps it mysterious and unsolved.

And its not really explained in Assignment 6 where the guys working for the Transients go - i just assume Matron is like one of them / is a Transient.

Therefore Ruby being in a different dimension to S&S, like Silver was when they were trapped in the 40s diner meant that she could rescue them, and that's really all it reveals - she sings a song and it saves them, because, as Ruby says in 2.2 Water Like a Stone, there's power in music. That's all i can put together, and that's enough for me.

:)
