Actually, it doesn't suck so much except the umpteen billion calls, texts and people saying 'have you had her yet??'  *headdesk* Yeah like i was gonna have her in total secret and not tell anyone. Yeah, that's it. </ sarcasm>

It feels just like last week, without the blood pressure drama and with fewer, less energetic baby movements. I guess she's saving up for the grand entrance? She's still alive, but she's not so busy. Last week she was trying to go all John Hurt chestburster on me, and that was beyond uncomfortable, into well painful.

This kid is so not going to move before Friday. *pokes idle belly* I'm gonna have to get an eviction notice, I can see it.

ugh, so tired of keeping my feet up, drinking lots of water and watching crap tv. Come on baby! You've got til Friday!

Not only do i have my 4th UTI, so i can have cephalexin AGAIN and end up with yeast AGAIN, but I am also GBS+.

Fuck. There goes my homebirth / labouring at home.

*headdesk*

Baby is fine. I am so relieved.

Got to see everything, all the bits, even the 4 chambers of the heart, the brain, kidneys, bladder, long bones, all sorts. Switched the scanner to 4d mode but a hand was blocking the view of the face so no movies of smiling cherub faces or anything this time.

And its a girl :) which is very groovy :)

I get another scan at 28 weeks so i'll get to see her again!

Now we gotta start working on names. *ponder*

i'm inclined to think, just for this moment, that Jake Weber from Medium is the hottest thing on television right now. I may even have to icon.

Probably just the hormones, though. :/

There's only one baby! Exactly the same date as i had thought, 11 weeks 0 days, today. Due 19 September.

So, been thinking a lot since the midwife's phone call yesterday. First midwife apptmt arranged for  4 Feb in the morning, so i have til then to figure out wtf i want.


Sigh. Fingers crossed I have a better experience this time around.

Its frozen outside. The frost makes pretty patterns on car roofs. Brr.

Also, i'm pregnant.
